Feta cheese Chickpea Salad 

Welcome to Tripta’s Food Tunnel! Today, I’m excited to share a delicious and nutritious recipe for Feta Cheese Chickpea Salad. This vibrant dish is not only bursting with flavor but also packed with health benefits thanks to its wholesome ingredients.

Chickpeas are the star of this salad, offering a rich source of plant-based protein and dietary fiber. They help in regulating blood sugar levels, promoting digestive health, and providing long-lasting energy. The creamy feta cheese adds a delightful tang while being a good source of calcium and protein, which are essential for bone health and muscle repair. 

Combined with a simple yet flavor ful dressing made of olive oil, garlic, red wine vinegar, oregano and chilli flakes. It is simple and filling with lots of Nutritional value. 

We need 

1 Cup boiled or Canned Chickpea. 

1 Cup Baby Tomatoes cut in halves. 

1 Red Onion cut lengthwise. 

1 Cup Salad leaves any type. 

1 Cup Crumbled Feta Cheese. 

1 English Cucumber Sliced. 

Some Black Olives. 

For Dressing. 

2 Tbsp Virgin Olive Oil. 

1 Tbsp Mustard Sauce

Juice of 1 Lemon

3 Cloves of Garlic crushed. 

1 Tbsp Red wine vinegar / or white vinegar

1 Tbsp Oregano

½ Tsp Salt

1 Tbsp Chilli Flakes. 

Here we Go :-

Add all the ingredients labelled under dressing to a glass jar along with crumbled Feta Cheese. . Shake well so that every ingredient is well mixed. Dressing is ready

Now put chickpeas, tomatoes, olives, onions, cucumber and top it with roughly torn salad leaves or any greens. 

Pour dressing over the Salad. Now with the help of two forks mix everything gently. You can also use your hands for mixing. 

Now Enjoy your healthy Salad as starter or as a whole meal . 🥗🥗🥗

This salad is a fusion of Indian & Greek Salad. As it contains Feta Cheese which is made of goat or sheep’ milk or from the combination of both. It is high on Calcium & Phosphorus. Since the climate of Greece is conducive for the making of  this cheese, a large chunk comes from there but now it is made everywhere  . 

Chickpea is known as chana, chole, bengal gram, Egyptian pea & Garbanzo beans. It is high in protein. An important ingredient in Mediterranean & Middle Eastern cuisine in hummas, falafel e.t.c . It is an important part of Indian Cuisine as well. It is Used in salad soup, curries & chana masalamasal
